Dr Tim Hardy

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Tim Hardy graduated from the University of Queensland. After undergoing further hospital training in Cairns, and working in England and Scotland, he settled on the Gold Coast in 1992. He established 19th Avenue Family Practice in 1998.

Dr Hardy has an interest in all areas of general practice with special interests in aviation medicine and skin cancer. He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) appointed by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and holds a private pilots licence.

 

Dr Genevieve Locke

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Locke completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2011 before moving to Sydney where she obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2015. She has recently relocated to the Gold Coast where she enjoys practicing Evidence Based Medicine with an interest in Paediatrics and Women's Health. Dr Locke inserts contraceptive devices such as Implanon and Mirena IUD.

Dr Paul Hamilton

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Hamilton was in the first cohort to complete medicine at Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2008.  He undertook his early hospital years at the Gold Coast Hospital, before taking some time off to travel and work at many hospitals around Australia, including the immigration detention centre on Christmas Island.  He settled into General Practice and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2015.  Paul enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially aged care, paediatrics and men's health.

 

Dr Christine Mirakian

MBBS (Melb), MForensMed (Monash), FFCFM (RCPA), FACLM, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, D-ABMDI

Dr Mirakian completed her medical degree at Melbourne University in 1994. She completed completed a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a Forensic Medical Officer for Qld Health where she now delivers the full range of forensic services. In 2015 she completed her Masters of Forensic Medicine and was accepted as a Clinical Forensic Medicine Fellow at the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and a Fellow of the Australian College of Legal Medicine. She continues to work part time in general practice as well as Currumbin Clinic and Pindara Hospital where she sits on the Executive Committee and Medical Advisory Committee respectively.

Dr Ian Black 

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Black joined the practice in 2017 after working extensively on the north end of the Gold Coast.   He enjoys anything outdoors, including boating and fishing. Dr Black obtained his medical degree through Griffith University, and subsequently worked at the Gold Coast Hospital, amongst other hospitals in Queensland. He obtained his fellowship of the RACGP in 2015, and enjoys the variety that general practice offers. Of specific interest is aged care, men's health, and chronic disease management. 

 

Dr Catherine Jackson

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Jackson joined the practice in 2016. She obtained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy followed by her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland and completed her early and further training in Emergency Medicine at Gold Coast Hospital. She worked in the Paediatric, Intensive Care and Anaesthetic departments as part of her training. Dr Jackson became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015 and enjoys the diversity of General Practice with particular interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Sports injuries and Emergency Care management.
